Procedure

Weigh water in the main beaker. Add the powders of phase A into water while homogenizing for 30 minutes. Add phases B and C to the main phase and mix. Allow phases D and D2 to blend using a slow overhead mixer. Add phases D and D2 to the main phase and allow a complete emulsion to form. Add phase E to the main phase and mix well. Switch to sweep mixing. Weigh and set aside colors of phase F. Disperse them into the emulsion slowly. Homogenize for not more than 5 minutes. Use phase G to adjust the pH to 5.5. Mix for 20 minutes until smooth and uniform. Appearance—Pearlescent and luminous cream; Color—Shimmery brown; Odor—Fragrance-free; Centrifuge—No separation at RT and 40ºC 4000 RPM, 30 minutes; Viscosity—15,000 cP - 20,000 cP Brookfield Viscometer DV II+, TB Spindle, 12 RPM; pH—5.5 ± 0.5l Emulsion Stability results to date—Stable for 3 months at RT and 45°C, Stable for 5 freeze-thaw cycles.
